Barber County Commissioners as of April 29, 2021 has officially rescinded the COVID-19 phase guidance. While the new case count is low in the state and the active-case trends continue to be encouraging, there are several COVID-19 variants that may pose a significant threat. Therefore, Barber County Commissioners are suggesting that residents should cough and sneeze into their sleeve and consider the following COVID Precautions:
◦ Wear a mask in public
◦ Social distance from those you do not reside with
◦ Wash your hands often
◦ Clean and disinfect touched surfaces.
◦ Get Vaccinated
Even though there are no specific gathering limitations, people should practice social distancing when gathering with individuals you are not sitting with or reside with.
